Brighton, Colorado – The Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce today that following a nationwide search they have selected the very best candidate, Leslie Espinoza, as their new President/CEO.

Leslie came to the Brighton Chamber in November of 2017.  She has successfully fulfilled the duties and responsibilities as Membership Director.  Leslie quickly fell in love with the Brighton community – becoming a friend to our members, and serving them incredibly well.  Leslie’s innovative spirit and enthusiasm have helped increase membership and improve retention since she joined our team.

Current President, Naomi Colwell said, “...Leslie is an accomplished executive-level business development professional with over 10 years of chamber of commerce experience. Her extensive knowledge and background bring essential leadership and guidance to take the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce to the next level and provide the services, programs, and attention that the membership wants. Leslie is skilled at building strong business relationships and implementing highly effective solutions to support business development efforts. As a recent graduate of the Western Area Chamber Executives, she is well versed in what a Chamber is about, services it provides and commitment to the local businesses.  She has been a significant asset to the Chamber with reenergizing committees and establishing new events.

Leslie is grateful for the opportunity to lead the Brighton Chamber saying, “I am excited and honored for the opportunity to build upon the great progress the Chamber has made in Brighton and lead it into its next chapter.” Espinoza adds, “Throughout my career, I have used my chamber expertise and business acumen to lead and create change and make a lasting impact both in business and in the community. I look forward to working alongside the Board of Directors to continue to carry out the Chamber’s important mission of championing economic prosperity and quality of life for our region.”

Leslie’s chamber experience includes tenures at the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Tucson, AZ and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in CA.  Leslie introduced the Evolution Women’s Conference to Brighton, Colorado in June of 2018.  The inaugural Conference brought over 150 women together for inspiration, motivation, and empowerment.  This year’s Conference is sold out – nearly 200 women will attend the event to be held at the Bella Sera Events Center in Brighton, Colorado this Friday.

“After a thoughtful, national search, it became clear that Leslie was our best candidate for the position,” says Chamber Board Vice President Charmaine Weis. “Her passion, energy, enthusiasm, and experience will lead us into the next chapter for our business community. We’re extremely excited about the future for the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce.”
